Situated at the foot of one of the Shoreline buildings on the trunk of the Palm, this IFA managed building offered until recently access to a large expanse of beach, a well maintained pool beneath swaying palms, a bar, restaurant and water facilities for 100 AED during the week, and AED 175 on the weekend.
That made it one of the best value beach clubs on the island.
When Nakheel’s own Palm Vista Mare opened on the same stretch of beach, the master developer exercised its ownership of the beach area (validity tbd), and prevented beach club members from accessing the beach. This now seems to have been resolved – probably at great cost. What we notice when we go are facilities, in some areas, are starting to look somewhat shabby.
As soon as it rebuilds its finances Riva should look at the changing areas, the pool itself, and the painting…
Still this remains one of the more affordable beach clubs, and is still busy especially on weekends…
