Trader Vics Coming to the Palm
2020 is looking like it will be a big year for Palm Jumeirah with the Nakheel Mall finally open, and a slew of new hotels running up the trunk and on the crescent. What’s more, new restaurants, bars and clubs to anchor them are being announced at pace.
The latest marks the arrival of an old favourite in the city, the Polynesian themed Trader Vics, which will open in the brand-new Hilton The Palm, which is due to open on the trunk of the Palm in 2020.
The new restaurant will take up a spacious venue, and plans are said to be “well underway”.
Trader Vics was established in 1934. This new location will be a fourth for the city. The restaurant is already in London, Seychelles, San Francisco and Munich. Other branches in Dubai can be found in the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Crowne Plaza Sheikh Zayed Road and Hilton JBR.
Meanwhile, the JBR branch, which has top views from the terrace across to Ain Dubai and the Palm, is undergoing a revamp – with the stage and dancefloor being relocated slightly to allow for more room for dancing and partying.
