How Wagamama on the Palm Jumeirah Will be Different… Every. Single. Day!

by Orwell HuxleyOctober 20, 2015

Launching the first venue of its kind in the UAE, Wagamama on the Palm Jumeirah is introducing the “kaizen” ideology (meaning “continuous improvement”) to the brand. Highlights include the new Omakase section of dishes (Omakase is japanese for ‘the chefs selection’) as well as refreshed restaurant interiors and décor. The new location also features an al fresco dining area and a fresh juice bar.

Exclusive to the Palm location will be the chefs selection of fresh and flavorful new dishes – from hot soups to mild curries. The grilled tuna provides a healthy Asian twist and sits on a bed of quinoa, kale, red peppers, red onion and edamame beans.

For seafood lovers there is a coconut seafood broth, which boasts a mixture of prawns, salmon, squid, scallops and mussels poached in a coconut and vegetable soup.

Finally, for those looking for a more hearty option there is the beef Massaman curry with sweet potatoes, shiitake mushrooms and baby aubergine in a mild, fragrant Massaman curry sauce.

The restaurant will also be introducing some exclusive new sides such as the hirata steamed bun served with a choice of beef and red onion or mushroom and aubergine. Wagamama’s favourites such as the chilli squid and chicken katsu curry also all still have their place on the menu.

“We are extremely excited to launch the new concept here in the UAE” says Charlotta Ashour, country manager for Wagamama. “This is just the first step in our expansion as we have plans to open further venues across the country in the next year.

“Wagamama has been a huge success in the UAE for over a decade and we aim to continue this momentum.”

Location: Golden Mile Galleria, Golden Mile 1, Entrance 3, the Palm Jumeirah.
Launch Date: End of October 2015
Time: Sunday – Thursday 10am- 10pm, Friday – Saturday 10am-12pm
